Business Requirement Document



1. Introduction Accounts payable is one of the broadest and most important Process with in a Company. The purpose of this process is to pay Invoices that are legitimate and accurate and by doing so to ensure that a company financial statements are accurate.



2. Business Requirements Activities in Accounts payable from creating an invoice to payment go through in Omni Flow and SAP with multiple activities involved in the process. Tracking each invoice and knowing the different processing paths an invoice can take through departments and various IT systems is a complex task and time consuming. The idea of this internal project is by offering accuracy and mapping the entire process, Process mining can address most of the challenges. Process mining brings transparency into the reality and identify the difference between the way the process supposed to be and the way actually it’s happening. This process mining project helps combines the strengths of both data mining and process modelling, by automatically creating process models based on the existing IT log Data and helps in identifying insights of the multiple process activities. Process mining yields live models that are connected to the business can be updated easily at any point in time.

4. Detailed Requirements 4.1       Access Requirement Mention the list of users (ADIDs) or the Group Ids for whom the report access is to be enabled. Also mention in detail the access levels for the users, if Full access is required or specific access for BU/Vertical/Account etc.



4.2       Business Rule Specify the business rules and logic for the fields in the report.



4.3      Reporting requirements List down all data points/fields that would be required as part of the requirement. Business justification should be provided for all the columns required in the report.

4.5   Geography specific requirements Mention any specific requirements for region/geo. Ex: Requirements specific for any set of employees out of a particular country.
