Brochure



Brochures are advertising pieces mainly used to introduce a company or organization and inform about products or services to a target.



Function brochures are used primarily to give through explanation of onespecific subjectb) to convey information and regulations. Almost anything that requires details can be covered



Characteristic contain short information and focused on one thing attractive design, unique and distinct. The most common types of single sheet brochures are bi-fold (a single sheet printed on both sides and fold into half) and tri-fold (same with bi-fold but faded into thirds)

Leaflet



Leaflets are a type of open letter which is designed to be handed out to the people, either by hand, by post, inserted in local newspapers for distribution, to grab their attention.



Function to advertise a product, to provide information about important issues and event, to draw attention to any organisation cause or event



Characteristic The content of standard leaflets used in support of foreign internal defense, unconventional warfare, and consolidation operations varies widely.

Banner



A banner is a flag or other pieces of cloth bearing a symbol, logo, slogan or other message.



Function to advertise a product and persuade people to give a positive message for people



Characteristic There is a picture as a symbol/logo of corporations or community, usually made in a flag or a cloth, theres a statement as the slogan that shows the event



Pamphlet



Pamphlet is an unbound booklet (that is, without a hard cover or binding). It may consist of a single sheet of paper that is printed on both sides and folded in half, in thirds, or in fourths



Function to give people detail information about something in specific points



Characteristic There are more detail about the information, usually made from a piece of paper, it shows the message about something completely



Difference between Brochure, Leaflet, Banner, and Pamphlet 01



Brochure: has a size which starts from one page of folio paper which can be A4 size that can be folded.

Leaflet: has a paper size which is very small. At first sight it will look like a pamphlet but has a smaller size than the pamphlet.

Pamphlets: have a size which starts from a single page of folio / A4 paper and also doesn’t have a fold, without bindings . Generally will be printed on both sides

Banners: are larger than posters, generally two to four times larger than posters. Usually the poster is located in a place that has a stand to be seen, usually it will be in a public service room.
