Company structure, description & history PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia History PT Leighton Contractors Indonesia (LCI), formerly known as PT John Holland Constructions Indonesia (JHCI), was established and incorporated as a foreign investment company under Indonesian law in 1975. JHCI first commenced operations in Indonesia in 1974 as a subsidiary of John Holland Constructions (Singapore). In 1994, 50% of John Holland Construction (Singapore) was strategically sold to an Asian third party. In 2000 Leighton acquired all shares in the company.



Group structure LCI is a majority owned subsidiary of Leighton Asia, one of Asia’s leading contractors and project developers. Leighton Asia strength lies in its ability to develop innovative, practical solutions for our clients. Leighton Asia have been operating in Asia since 1975, and the unique combination of local knowledge and extensive international experience has made Leighton Asia the region's international contractor of choice. Leighton Asia operates in Hong Kong, Macau, China, Mongolia, Taiwan, Korea, the Philippines, Guam, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia and India. Leighton Asia in turn is wholly owned by Leighton Holdings Limited, a publicly listed company on the Australian Stock Exchange. Headquartered in Sydney, it is the largest project development and contracting group in Australia.

Leighton’s camp capability Construction camp and support facilities Leighton primary focus is on turnkey solutions for the provision of camps at project sites or support facilities to mining and oil and gas projects. Our services include the planning design, procurement, fabrication, delivery, and installation of the following: • Buildings • Logistics • Utilities

The products we offer include following aspects: • Accommodation and offices. • Office complexes. • Staff quarters. • Workers quarters. • Toilets, ablutions, and laundry facilities. • First aid and clinic facilities. • Lunchrooms, canteens and kitchens. • Recreational facilities, including indoor / outdoor sports facilities. • Religious facilities. • Infrastructure services (fire prevention, water supply, waste water treatment, electrical supply). Design and manufacturing capability A key component in our continuing success is our in-house design and fabrication capabilities.

Our current facility in Indonesia is fully operational and can produce up to 90 modules per month. We have the flexibility to establish new manufacturing facilities to support any new projects in the region. Our design capabilities include: • Whole facility / camp planning. • Our in-house planning and design capability enables us to provide.



prefabricated modular units which are pre-engineered and designed to meet each project’s specific requirements. • The design can be off the shelf designs or be new innovative solutions to support a project’s particular characteristics. • The pre-engineering for transportation and swift erection & installation works allows us to provide knock down units for units delivered as cubed units. • Our design and manufacture can incorporate local components and materials • We design our products to meet the local regulations and statutory requirements and environments. • Our designs are geared to optimize operating and maintenance lifetime costs.

Leighton embraces the importance of health and safety in the execution of all projects with which it is entrusted. The prevention of accidents and injuries is regarded as a fundamental part of the company’s responsibilities to its employees and to the community as a whole. For this reason the Company is committed to continuous improvement in it’s Safety performance and has in place a Health and Safety Management System that is certified to OHSAS18001:2007. Third party audits are conducted by internationally recognized and registered auditing bodies to ensure the management system is maintained and continually improves.



Our work is conducted in such a way as to ensure, as far as is reasonably practicable, the safety and welfare of the company’s employees and of anyone who may be affected by the works. It is this approach to health and safety that has resulted in the Company consistently achieving health and safety records substantially better than those of the mining and construction industry as a whole. Environmental management Leighton is aware of the impact our activities can have on the environment. We support the principle of sustainable development and are committed to taking an environmentally responsible approach to all our business activities. The Company, through its extensive involvement in construction globally, has developed a keen corporate awareness of the importance of responsible environmental management in the execution of all its projects. This awareness is also reflected in the performance of the company’s overseas projects and is evidenced with Leighton having in place a mature Environmental Management System that is certified to ISO14001:2004. Leighton produces and implements detailed Project Environmental Plans for each project, which align with the procedural Requirements of the Project Management Plan. Detailed Risk Assessment is undertaken to identify aspects and impacts associated with our activities and the necessary controls required to minimize impacts form the project works. Detailed procedures and project instructions are in place to document these controls and to detail specific environmental requirements to be followed on all projects. In developing and implementing the Project Environmental Plan, Leighton ensures that due account is taken of all applicable legislation in the country concerned.



Quality



Leighton’s corporate commitment to quality and the assurance of quality to all our clients is reflected in well-established procedures and disciplines set out in the company’s established management systems. Quality Management procedures have been established and are certified to ISO 9001: 2008. A Project Quality plan is specifically produced for each of our projects and forms part of the procedural regime set up for that project under our Project Management Plan. The plan also ensures that our Client’s specific expectations of quality are consistently satisfied in accordance with the contractual and regulatory requirements on each project covering all aspects of the scope of work.
