Dance is often used in traditional party or a wedding celebration. Minangkabau dance is not only played by woman, but also by men. The characteristic of minangkabau dance is fast, loud, stomping, and dynamic. One of the dances is plate dance. Plate dance or tari piriang (Minang Language) is a traditional dance that derived from Solok, west Sumatra. Plate is the medium in this dance.
