Once upon a time, lived a happy couple named Rama and Sinta in a world of gods and magic. They lived at a forest after Rama was expelled from the kingdom. One day, Sinta saw a beautiful and white deer, and asked Rama to catch it for her. SINTA What a beautiful deer, Rama! Could you catch it for me? RAMA Are you sure, Sinta? I think it isn’t an ordinary deer. It could be dangerous. LAKSMANA I agreed with you. SINTA Oh, please, Rama! I think it won’t be dangerous. RAMA (thinking) Okay, for you my dear. My brother, Laksmana, please keep Sinta safe for me. LAKSMANA Of course, Rama. Be careful! SINTA Be careful, Rama! I love you. RAMA Love you too.



Then Rama went to the forest with his bow. As long as he chase the deer, he went to the deepest forest and far away from his house. After he caught the deer, suddenly it turned into a man. Rama was shocked. He realized, this was a trap. RAMA Oh my God! Fortunately, Sinta is safe with Laksmana. I hope she’ll be fine. Rama ran as fast as he could to Sinta. But while Rama was chasing the deer, Sinta felt her husband was too long only to catch a deer. She asked Laksamana to find Rama because she was really worried about her beloved husband. SINTA It have been 2 hours! Where did he went? LAKSAMANA Relax, Sinta. I bet the deer just too hard to be catch. I’m telling you, it wasn’t ordinary deer, Sinta. SINTA But, oh my God! It was my fault! If I were not ask Rama to catch it, he wouldn’t went to the forest. LAKSAMANA No need to worry, Sinta. He is a good archer. SINTA Laksamana, could you go and find Rama? LAKSAMANA I think it won’t be necessary, Sinta. SINTA But how long you need to catch a deer? LAKSAMANA Maybe 1 hour. SINTA And he went 2 hours! You have to catch up him, Laksamana! LAKSAMANA

While Laksamana was running, a witch named Rahwana hid behind a tree. For couple minutes ago, she was waiting for a good chance to kidnap Sinta. After Laksamana left, she walked slowly into the circle. But the circle didn’t allow her to get closer to Sinta and Rahwana bounced back to the tree. RAHWANA Oh! Good for you, Laksmana. Fine, I’ll figure another way to kidnap her. Then Rahwana used her magic to change herself into a poor old woman. She walked to the Sinta, and called her. RAHWANA Excuse me! Anybody here? SINTA Yes, Ma’am. Oh, what happened to you? RAHWANA (groaning) Oh, dear, I fell down from that tree. SINTA



Oh! I’m sorry Ma’am. I can’t help you, I— RAHWANA Argghh! It so hurt you know. Please help me! I can’t walk! SINTA (confused) But, -RAHWANA Oh, dear! I thought you’re a good girl who helps other. SINTA Okay, okay, Ma’am. Wait there, I’ll carry the medicine. RAHWANA Thank you, dear! SINTA (come back) Here I am, Ma’am. Sinta walked across the circle to help Rahwana. But she didn’t know the poor woman she help, was an evil witch. Then Rahwana used her magic to make Sinta fainted. Rahwana laugh, and took Sinta to her palace. On the way to Rahwana’s palace, they met a bird, named Jatayu. Jatayu realized Sinta was in trouble, so he decided to help Sinta. JATAYU Hey you! Where will you carry her? RAHWANA Get out of my way, stupid bird! JATAYU Give me Sinta! RAHWANA HAHAHA! No way! JATAYU Then fight with me, ugly witch!



RAHWANA Oh really?! Fine than. Just start to think about your death! Jatayu and Rahwana fought. But because Rahwana used her magic, Jatayu lost. He fell and groaned so hardly. Immediately, Rahwana brought Sinta to her palace. Meanwhile, Laksamana found Rama. Rama was shocked, and asked why Laksmana left Sinta alone. After Laksamana told Rama what happened, they went back to the house. When they found out that Sinta was gone, Rama felt so bad. LAKSAMANA – RAMA OH MY GOD!!!!! RAMA SINTA!!! SINTA!!! SINTA!! (searching) LAKSAMANA SINTA!!! SINTA!!! RAMA (search in the house) SINTA, WHERE ARE YOU?! LAKSMANA Oh my, Rama! Sinta is gone! RAMA It was my fault, my fault I left her alone. LAKSMANA No! It was my fault to left her alone! I am terribly sorry, Rama! RAMA Laksamana, don’t blame yourself. It was my fault. LAKSMANA Okay, there’s no need to blame ourselves and do nothing. Let’s go to the forest, and find her. RAMA Yeah, I think so. Let’s find her. Hopefully, she didn’t went too far. And I hope she’s fine. Totally fine.



Then Rama and Laksmana went to the forest. They found Jatayu. JATAYU RAMA!! RAMA!! RAMA What happened to you, Jatayu? JATAYU Oh there’s no need to worry about me! Sinta, Sinta is kidnapped! RAMA (shocked) WHAT? By who?! JATAYU The evil witch! Rahwana! RAMA RAHWANA?! (angry) JATAYU You have to find her. I think Rahwana will bring Sinta to her palace, in Lanka. RAMA I’ll safe her. Let’s go. JATAYU No! I’ve to stay here. I can’t use my wings anymore, and I am tired after fighting with Rahwana. RAMA Jatayu, why did you do that? You know she is a witch, you can’t win! JATAYU At least, I’ve tried. RAMA Bless you, Jatayu. JATAYU Thank you, Rama. For all your kindness.



Rama and Laksmana cried for Jatayu. Then Rama buried Jatayu properly. On the way Rama and Laksmana rescuing Sinta, they also helped Sugriwa. So Sugriwa decided to return they kindness with helping to find Sinta. Sugriwa then sent Hanoman to the Rahwana’s palace. HANOMAN I’ll find Sinta, I promise, Rama. In Rahwana’s palace, Sinta felt really sad. Suddenly, Sinta heard a song. She found out that a white monkey sang it. HANOMAN (bent) Sinta. I’d better introduce myself as Rama’s messenger. SINTA Oh! Is he doing fine? HANOMAN Yes, Sinta. He’s find, he is really worried about you. SINTA Tell him, I am sorry. HANOMAN I will. But first, I’d like to know the power of this kingdom. Then Hanoman destroy Rahwana’s garden. But suddenly, he get caught. Hanoman was brought to in front of Rahwana. RAHWANA Ah! So you’re the little monkey who destroy my garden, aren’t you? HANOMAN (keep quiet) RAHWANA Hmm, whoever made a confusion in front of my face, shall be punished! Burn him! They set fire to Hanoman’s body, but instead of burnt, Hanoman burning the palace and escaped. He went to Rama, and told him what happened. After that, Rama, Hanoman, Laksmana, and other monkey soldiers to Rahwana’s palace. After they arrived, they started to



fight Rahwana. The war began, and at first, Rahwana’s soldiers seemed to win the battle. But then Rama shot his magical arrow to Rahwana. And Rahwana died. Finally, Rama and Sinta met each other again, and they lived happily. THE END
