THE SCOUT The honorable adjudicators, all the teacher, my lovely friends, ladies and gentleman. Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuh, First of all, let’s thank god the almighty who has giving us his mercy and blessing till we can attend this meeting without any obstacles in this good place and time. Secondly, may sholawat and Salam always be with our prophet Muhammad peace is upon him, who has guided us from the darkness to the lightness in the world as well as in the next world. Thirdly, I will never forget to thank you who have giving me the chance to deliver my speech today. Standing in front of you all, I would like to convey some points. Scout is the formation of the soul and character of the Indonesian youth to be autonomous. We need to realize that participation in the scout can add more knowledge and increased friends here. After the old scout was established, the scout is growing well now. Of course, that has been done by the scout movement is, in the whole of Indonesia can participate and upgrade the character and leadership of the nation. We all hope with age to 50 years, scout movement grew prosperous and better able to increase his devotion to the nation and the beloved country. Friends, scout movement is still important and will be increasingly important in the future. Therefore, come with full responsibility, w promote together, we do various efforts to truly advance scout movement in the whole of Indonesia. For that in welcoming this 50 years scout’s birthday, let’s merry this birthday together with various positive activities like competitions and the other activities. Not the only that, the most important thing we notice is the character of our personality. We don’t need to brawl between schools as we saw on the TV or that we see with our own eyes. Brawling is a bad habit. So, we have to keep away from it. Brawling just can waste our energy and many losses are found. By following the scout, we don’t need to think about things that are useless. That’s why, let’s we think positively, be creative, and be as educative person. This can bring us to the things that are productive. Superior character is determined by the personality, the mental, and the character of the nation itself. If our nation is though, strong, tenacious, not easily to give up, have a high spirit to move forward, so, there’s no problem that can’t finish. We are a pluralistic nation, therefore, we should be more compact, more harmonious, more united, as a superior nation. The nation that continues to advance his character is looking for a breakthrough, innovate, be creative, work hard to reach our ambition. That’s what I want to say, don’t give up, let struggle persistently, keep spirit, let’s welcome together with unity, with the leadership and hard work.
