*Used Na2CO3 to neutralize traces of phosphoric acid *To remove water, dried with CaCl2 and distilled again at 80-85oC (bpt of cyclohexene)



*MnO4 killed through help of methanol *MnO2 was filtered (brown solid) *Adipic acid was recrystallized to purify
