RAL colors are glazed, the rest is dim, khaki - deep dim, Red RAL3000 is more often used for fire engines. The platform and cover are painted the cab color, metal trim package components are painted black, other information shall be stated in the order.

The windscreen sunscreen prevents sunbeams from penetrating into the cab and heating the windshield and cab interior.

Engines installed on KAMAZ vehicles and buses are certified as per Technical Regulations of Eurasian Customs Union «On wheeled vehicles safety» and UN regulations on emissions of toxic (contaminating) substances with exhaust gases, complying with the environmental standards from Euro-2 to Euro-6, incl. as per special emission classes 3 and 4 (EC-3 and EC-4 in the catalogue, respectively) in effect in the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) countries:

The KAMAZ line-up covers a wide range of commercial vehicles from city delivery trucks to increased payload trucks to be used as part of haul trains (combination vehicles), with the gross vehicle weight reaching 120 tons. Diesel trucks are complemented with CNG (compressed natural gas), LNG (liquefied natural gas) methane-powered vehicles. Model numbers are accompanied by designations like C1218, К3340, Т2426, В2732, М1840. Letters stand for purpose (С – delivery and medium-duty vehicles; В – all-terrain vehicles; Т – transport vehicles; К – heavy vehicles; М – long-distance vehicles), followed by two figures - gross weight in tons, the last two figures - engine power in horses divided by 10. The common designation of the truck chassis type (4x2, 4x4, 6x4, 6x6, 8x4, 8x8) is supplemented with designation of the all-wheel drive with a single-tyre wheel per semiaxle: 4х4.1, 6х6.1, 8х8.1 as well as 6x2-2 - meaning 6x2 with the last lifting axle. Curb weights and loads are universally indicated for the chassis / tractor unit filled with fuel and process liquids plus a driver weighing 75 kg.
