K' ou-chung nien-sbu-ti sheng-yin,ho shu-shang-ti niao-sheng hsiang-ying. In the time of the third month, the sun is warm and the breeze is ba.lr.ny. The leaves on the trees, and the flowers and grass on the earth, are in reds and greens, and are unusually attractive. There was a small pupil, who sat under a tree reviewing his lessons. The sounds from his mouth as he read his books, and the sounds of the birds in the trees, were in mutual harmony. 1
