I am writing this letter to recommend Izzeddin Heydari Mojaddidi, one of our year 12 students, for his application of the Mitsui Bussan scholarship. I am his high school principal at Unsyiah Laboratory School, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. I have known him for approximately 1.5 years when he enrolled to our school after finishing his 10th grade at Como Secondary College, Western Australia, Australia. As a student, Izzeddin demonstrates a love of learning and the level of commitment necessary to succeed in university level. As an educator, I am happy to be able to provide this recommendation for such a deserving student. Izzeddin is among the best 10% in our school who always shows a very keen interest in math and science. His performance in math is extraordinary; this is indicated by his logical and sequential steps he undertakes in solving mathematical problems. He is a hardworking student and always determined in doing extra work to achieve his goal. He is also excellent in English. He can converse and write in English fluently. In addition, Izzeddin is also highly interested in Japanese culture and language and is willing to put up the effort in understanding both. His participations in school activities is also outstanding. Since he joined our school, he has participated in numerous student events and has demonstrated his superb ability in working as a team. Based on all his performance during his study term in our school, I strongly recommend Izzeddin to pursue university education in math- or science-related discipline in an overseas university.
