OBJECTIVES • Strive for academic excellence in instruction, research, extension and production through accreditation • Provide appropriate and continuing faculty and staff development programs • Provide and maintain appropriate technologies, instructional facilities, materials and equipment • Produce quality graduates who are globally competitive to man the needs of businessand industry • Attain university status through Unity, Solidarity and Teamwork COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course deals with the study of the history and contribution of electricity, magnetism, electrical testing instruments, materials, tools and equipments. It will give the students an insights and techniques in analysing circuits, the right habit in manipulating electrical tools and equipments and practical exercises putting the technical knowledge into application for future job. COURSE OBJECTIVES: At the end of the course, the students should be able to: 1. Acquire knowledge about the wiring system, planning and estimation. 2. Value the OHS, 5’s and code requirements in wiring system. 3. Apply the right habit in wiring system, planning, estimation, handling electrical tools, equipments and testing instrument
