“Our Planet” is A Netflix original type of short documentary Series one of the episodes is “Forest” directed by Jeff Wilson and released on Netflix on April 5, 2019. It gets an IMDB Rating of 9.1/10. At the start of the film, we get a beautiful view of Our Planet “Earth” as an intro to the series “Our Planet”. In this episode, we learn about forests and their unique abilities which are amazing as well as we will see different kinds of animals with their abilities and habit. If we talk about what kind of different species and forests abilities, we find in the film like A Siberian Tiger rare to see on the southern edge of the boreal forest and monitors a nearly 2,000 square kilometre area. Or The Boreal Forest includes 750 billion trees and stores more than 40% of the world’s carbon and which makes it a vital element in the fight against climate change. And the Great Redwood Forest, the humid air coming from the Pacific Ocean allows trees to flourish all year. By the end of the summer, forests get so heated up and woodland becomes dry as tinder. The flamer is propelled by strong winds, and temperatures reach 700 degrees Celsius. The film will take you into the unseen world. And more focused on species, habitats, way and style of living everything has been covered through the episode. This Episode talks about different kind of forest like the Great Redwood Forest, Madagascar’s forest, the Boreal forest and the miombo forest in Africa with different kinds of species living there like Mopane Worms actually not worms it is Caterpillar, Elephant which plays an important role in the forest, and at last the hunting dogs with there children “puppies”. All the shot is very hard to take in a very detailed manner. One of the main things to notice is the continuity of the story, all the frames and all sense is connected to each other which tells more about the forest. The film sometimes makes you so relaxed and sometimes so excited like the fight between eagles in the boreal forest and the fight between Hornbill in the redwood forest. Not only that, but these series show the affection between a male and female specie, for example, the scene of the fossa, Hornbill, and rough-skinned newt, and each detail is well maintained, making it one of the most unique documentary series of all time. These all shot the cover in the daytime if we talk about nighttime is more unbelievable and unseen. In the last, we get to know about power and the ability to recover it nearby. The best proof can be seen on the site of one of our greatest disasters. Chornobyl. One of the Chornobyl nuclear power plant's four reactors exploded in 1986. By this, the town declares a ghost town. But within a decade, vegetation



began to sprout in the ruins. Animals began to appear as the forest re-established itself. Yes, without protection humans can stay here for long without being killed. Mostly the film shots were taken in the cinematic and the different shots and angles taken by many cameras and combining them in one film are looking awesome. The amazing part of the film was its drone shots which capture all over the head forests which we see in the different parts of the film. And the transitions are very smooth and amazing. In some parts of the film, we can hear some sound of forest and animals which make it more realistic and natural. Overall the film quality of the video and music was very well maintained and the production and editing played an important part in the film. I highly recommend watching 'Our Planet: Forest' if you haven't already. It's a visually stunning and emotionally powerful film that will leave you with a renewed appreciation for our planet's incredible ecosystems. It is available on both YouTube and Netflix.
