DIFFICULTY



Easy tools and materials



- Any yarn in red, bronze, beige, and white color - Crochet hook that matches the size of your yarn - A pair of safety eyes and washer - Tapestry/yarn needle - Stitch marker - Scissors - Stuffing - Blush/pink eyeshadow (optional)

I used Bali cotton yarn in big ply, a 3.00mm crochet hook, and a pair of 12mm safety eyes. My iron man turns out to be 12cm tall.

Make 2 (white) Ch 5, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Sew it to the mask. ARC REACTOR



(white) 8sc in magic ring, sl st, fasten off and leave a tail for sewing. Sew it to the upper part of the front body.



assembly



I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the sewing. I glued some of the parts like the helmet, mask, and arc reactor using a hot glue gun because I don't really like the results when I sew it (it looks "wrinkly"). But if you make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend for you to make it fully sewn.

1) Sew the helmet to the head 2) Sew the head to the body. 3) Sew the hands to the upper side of the body. 4) Sew the legs to the lower side of the body. 5) Sew the mask to the top of the head. 6) (optional) Put some blush on the cheeks using a real blush/pink eyeshadow. And... You're done!

"PUSH IN" EFFECT



This step is optional, but I like to give the "push in" effect (or what they call it) to the eyes. 1) Tie a knot on the inner right eye. 2) Using a yarn/tapestry needle, bring the yarn inside and pull it out on the inner left eye. 3) Pull the yarn slightly to give that "push in" effect then tie a knot to secure it. Weave any tails in, and you're done once again! :)
