COFFEE SHOP INITIAL SUPPLY LIST



1 EQUIPMENT Espresso Machine Espresso Grinder •• If necessary with your machine x2 if you are going to grind decaf to



order



Grinder •• For brewed/drip coffee



Coffee Brewer and Airpots Blenders •• Many smoothie and frappé manufacturers offer blender deals, call us



for more info.



2 SMALLWARES Steaming Pitchers (4-6) •• Get at least one smaller pitcher



Shot Glasses or Pitchers (8) Long-Handled Spoon (2-4) Scale (1-2) Mugs, Demitasses, Saucers, Cups (8 each) •• If you plan on serving “in-house”



Bean Scoop •• If you plan on selling whole bean, makes it easier to weigh beans and



pour into bag



Racks •• These are for syrups, teas, and sauces. Many of these are available for



specific manufacturers. Some manufacturers offer free racks to new customers



Cup and Lid Holders Squeeze Bottles •• For drizzling sauce



Pumps •• These are for syrups and sauces. Unless you choose to pour and



measure



Tamper, Packing Mat, and Knock Box •• Only if necessary



Aprons (5-10) Thermometers (2-4) Timers (2)



3 DISPOSABLES 12, 16, and 20 oz Hot Cups and Lids •• Some shops will use 24 oz as well



12, 16, and 20 oz Cold Cups and Lids •• Some shops will use 24 oz as well



Straws Stir Sticks Napkins Plastic Utensils •• If serving food



4 DRINK SUPPLIES Coffee •• Make sure you have espresso and selections for brewed coffee



Tea •• If using loose leaf tea, you will need to purchase tea brewing



equipment – steeping bags/teapots/tea balls/etc.



Maté •• These are brewed like tea. Usually an optional product to carry based



on customer base/location



Chai •• Comes in liquid or powder



Chocolate/White Chocolate •• These come in sauce or powder for making mochas and hot



chocolates. Most shops also carry a caramel sauce.



Smoothies Frappés •• Choose between liquid or powder, base or full line.



Flavored Syrup •• Top flavors : Vanilla, Caramel, French Vanilla, Irish Cream, Hazelnut,



Raspberry, Cinnamon, White Chocolate, Almond, Coconut, Cherry, Strawberry and English Toffee/Toffee Nut. •• Don’t forget Sugar Free options. •• Seasonal Flavors/Rotating Flavors are a good option to have as well
