Sealing method

I often use this method to get rid of some tails because it saves more time than weaving the tails in one by one. However, make sure the area that you want to “seal” is not visible, thus, not making it ugly. 1. Hold the tail to your piece. If you have more than 1 tail, you can twist it to become one.

2. Apply a small amount of hot glue gun, quickly and carefully press it using a metal flat object, I’m using my scissors.

3. Cut off the tail and you’re done.

4. Using the same yarn, pull out the yarn below the square, leaving a little gap. 5. Tie a knot as close as possible to the body. 6. Insert the yarn in the same hole and secure it.

Now we’re gonna make the details on the lower legs. I’m using Nezuko’s leg for the illustrations, you just have to do the same thing for Zenitsu’s but with WHITE yarn. 1. (using white yarn) Pull out a yarn behind R6-R7 of the leg. 2. Wrap the yarn around the leg twice (not too tight). 3. Insert the yarn in the same hole that you pull out in the first place. 4. Pull the yarn out again on the front leg, on R3-R4. 5. Insert the yarn underneath the 2 loops that you made before. 6. Pull the loops down using your current yarn. 7. Insert the yarn in the same hole that you pull out on the front leg. 8. Secure it and you’re done for the legs. (I secure the yarn by pulling it out again behind the leg then tying it.)

You’ll end up having a total of 12 strands. Seal off/weave in all the tails.

Sword handle (optional)

(white) We’re making the base of the handle first. (in white) Ch 9, (starting from 2nd ch from hook) 8slst Fasten off and weave in/seal off the tail. Now we’re making the detail. (in white) Ch 5 Fasten off and weave in/seal off the tail. Assembly: 1. Glue the detail around the tip of the handle. 2. (using soft yellow yarn) Embroider small diagonal lines on the handle. 3. Weave in/seal off the tails..

assembly

I recommend to use ball point pins for assembly. This way will help you to keep the pieces in place and make it easier to do the sewing. I'm using a hot glue gun to attach some of the parts, but if you make this amigurumi for kids, I recommend to make it fully sewn. 1. Sew the body to the head. 2. Sew the legs to the lower sides of the body. (If you wanna make it stand, just sew the legs on the bottom of the body.)

1 2 3. Wrap the collar detail around the neck and sew/glue it in place. 4. Wrap the waist detail around the body above the legs and sew/glue it in place. 5. Wrap the outer on the sides to the back of the body and sew/glue it in place.

3

4

5

medaami 13

6. Sew the arms on the sides of the upper body. 7. Sew the hair base to the head diagonaly like so:

6

7

8. Cut a long strip from white felt, then cut them diagonally to form little small triangles.

9. Glue them randomly on the outer and the sleeves.

medaami 14

10. Place one hair strand on one side of the head, above the arms slightly to the back. Then, place another hair strand on the other side. 11. Place 4 hair strands on the back of the head to fill the gap.

10

11 12. Place another hair strands on each sides of the hair, slightly above the previous hair strands that you place.

13. We’re now placing the hair strands for the bangs. Place 2 hair strands on the sides of the forehead. 14. Place another 2 hair strands in the middle of the forehead to fill the gap. Sew/glue all hair strands in place.

13

15. Place the Top Hair on the top of the head slightly to the back. Then, position the LONGER strand on the middle of the face like so: 16. Position and arrange the other strands around the head.

15

16

17. Glue/sew the hair strands in place 18. Tuck the sword handle inside the outer, then glue it in place. 19. (optional) Add blush to make him cuter.
