GENERAL: This Technical Publication outlines the recommended procedure to reduce the occurrence of E56D-8002 errors caused by the Finisher Dispose Assembly in the products listed in the table above. DETAILS: It is possible for the Front Paper Retaining Lever [2] or the Rear Paper Retaining Lever [3] of the Dispose Assembly [1] to come into contact with another component in the delivery area of the Finishers listed above. As a result of this collision, the Paper Retaining Levers may fail to return to home position in the allotted time (3 seconds) causing an E56D-8002 error.
