1. FEATURES EVRC2A Interface Software is program available WINDOWS, able to manage History Data and Setting Value by connecting Port1(RS232) of EVRC2A. It has features as follows. 1) Recloser can be registered as a Item and registered Recloser is managed as an Area of Equipment. 2) History Data can be managed in each registered Recloser Item. 3) All History Data of Recloser can be recorded and displayed on screen, measured data can be checked by graph. 4) Recorded History Data can be saved as a file and the saved file can be read and printed with Off-Line. 5) In the User Interface Panel, setting can be changed On-Line without using key.

2. INSTALLATION Extract the file, launch evrc2aXX.exe for the installation. Following pictures show the program installation. (EVRC2A Interface Software is available in ENTEC website - http://www.entecene.co.kr) 2) Select a folder to be installed.

TITLE BAR Shows specs of Hardware. (Control Firmware Version 3.01 higher support)



MENU BAR All program functions are in Menu.



TOOL BAR Some of functions in MENU BAR can be made for ICON to run easily



WORK SPACE Shows registered Item and RDB File as Tree Structure.



REGISTRATION SPACE Saves/displays information of Item such as Mfg.Serial NO.



STATUS BAR Displays Help Note when Menu or Toolbar is selected and it shows ON-Line/Off-Line status of EVRC2A.

4. MENU BAR 4.1. FILE “Open” function can be operated on OFF-line.



Open: Opens saved History Data File(*.RDB). Save: Saves History Data as a file. Setting Open: Opens saved Setting File(*.SYS)



Setting Save: Saves Setting Value. Class-Defined Info. Open: Opens saved Class Defined Information File(*.TXT) ※ It is supported only from DNP 3.0 Protocol.



Quit: It quits the program.

Many recloser can be managed as registered Items.

Registered Reclosers are managed in each Area of Equipment.



1) Fill in each Recloer Registration blank with proper value and press [Register] button.



Mfg. Serial No. 1) Fill in the blanks



Enter serial Number.



Date of Manufacture Enter date of manufacture.



Date of Equipment Enter data of Equipment.

Area of Equipment Enter area of Equipment. (After registration, Area of Equipment becomes Item name and the same Item name can not be used at the same time.



Specification Enter any necessary note for user.



Modify Recloser Registration. Register new Item. Print Recloser Registration. (Please refer to “13.1. Recloser Registration Print Example”)

Functions are; ① Refresh: Refresh the tree structure. ② Scan all: It scans and displays the all RDB files in the selected folder. ③ Delete all: Remove all items from the tree. ④ View only registered area: If it is checked only displayed registered item.

5) Item It is a item that registered in the registration space. Functions are; ① Scan Files: It scans and displays the same item name in the selected folder. ② Delete Item: Remove the selected item from the tree.



6) *.RDB It is a RDB file in the item. Functions are; ① Change Eq. Area: It changes the item location. -



Click [Change Eq. Area], [Area of Eq.] is come out.

7. ONLINE CONNECTION 1) Connect Communication Cable to Serial Port on computer. (Both side of Communication Cable are the same type, for more details about Cable information refer to Figure of “Communication Cable” in ”User Manual-Recloser Control EVRC2A”. 2) Connect the other side of Communication Cable to Port 1 in User Interface Panel. 3) Run EVRC2A Interface Software and select “Online/Connect” 1) Online/Connect



4) Check Port Setting Status before change and press [Port Setting] button.

5) Select Serial Port and Baud Rate to be used in PC and press [OK] button. y



Baud Rate of EVRC2A is fixed for 19.2K.

RDB File has all History Data and Setting Value, so it is possible to check them.
