SOP OF DOZER OPERATION Before starting of the operator shall look for any tag of “B/D” “OUT OF ORDER” or “UNDER REPAIR”. If any such tag is seen, the operator shall not be started. 2. Before operating the operator, the operator shall personally in speed and test the following details: a) That the break horn and AVA are in proper working order. b) That the head light, back light & dash boards light are in working order. c) That the machine is mechanically sound and in efficient working order. d) Fire extinguisher is provided. 3. The dozer should be operated by the authorized dozer operator duly. 4. The glass of the dozer operator cabin should be kept properly cleaned for good visibility during operation. 5. Before starting operation, the operator shall personally examine the surrounding the dozer. 6. The operator of dozer shall not allow any persons to ride on the dozer, while in the operation. 7. The dozer operator of dozer should operate his machine in stable ground only. 8. The dozer should not be operated in highly inclined ground or at a place where there is chance of stocking up of the dozer. 9. The dozer should be operated in OB dump yard in such a manner that there should be always a berm of sufficient highest & width. 10. While operating in dump yard, the dozer should be operated in operator side of the running dumper/tippers, so that the dumper/tipper operator could see the position of dozer while dumping. 11. He should be very careful while climbing and getting down from the Dozer. 12. He should not leave the operator cabin while in duty with out sufficient cause and should minimize getting down from Dozer. 13. The dozer should obey the instructions of supervisors. 14. The dozer should not be marched over power cable, drill holes or close proximately of overhead line. 15. The dozer operator should immediate stop his machine, in case of abnormal sound from machine or any leakage during operation. 1.



16. Before stopping dozer, the operator should park the dozer at the specified place of parking and the blade of dozer should rest on the ground.
