perceived things differently f r o m m o s t

which was a result of my t h i r s t f o r knowledge. Ever



since I was young, I would gaze at the stars and s o m e h o w k n o w t h a t we were n o t alone in the universe, t h a t I had f r i e n d s in t h e S p i r i t W o r l d — my g u a r d i a n a n g e l s w h o always love and look a f t e r me. M y family t a u g h t me t o be r e s p e c t f u l of all religions. An i n b o r n curiosity led me o n a journey. In t i m e I became a f i r m believer in Sai Baba o f Shirdi*, and I t o l d H i m a b o u t my deep yearning f o r a s p i r i t u a l m a s t e r o n E a r t h . It was t h e n t h a t I came across a lady, whose n a m e was K h o r s h e d Bhavnagri. T h e f i r s t day I m e t her a n d s p o k e t o her d e p a r t e d sons, Vispi and R a t o o , I felt a great k i n s h i p when they called me "Small Brother." T h e k n o w l e d g e t h a t I gained a b o u t the a f t e r l i f e t h r o u g h K h o r s h e d Bhavnagri — or K h o r s h e d Aunty, as I called her — was recognition m o r e t h a n discovery.
