WIND-SHEAR ESCAPE PROCEDURE When approaching if the wind-shear alarm sounds, the approach must be aborted and a go-around procedure will go on. 1. AUTOPILOT → OFF 2. AUTO THRUST → DISENGAGE 3. THRUST → 100% 4. SPEED BRAKES → DISENGAGE 5. LANDING GEAR → UP 6. FLAPS SET → GET THEM DOWN BETWEEN 25-30º 7. RUNWAY HEADING → CHECK 8. CHECK GO-AROUND ALTITUDE IN THE NAV CHART 9. SET THIS ALTITUDE INTO THE AUTOPILOT 10. SET SPEED BETWEEN 180-200 kts.
