Corporate University



What is Corporate University (Corpu) ?  Allen (2002) A Corporate University is an educational entity that is a strategic tool designed to assist its parent organization in achieving its mission by conducting activities that cultivate both individual and organizational learning, knowledge, and wisdom.



 Grenzer (2006) “Corporate University as a function strategically aligned toward integrating the development of people within a spesicif organization. It must focus on personal development, career paths, training opportunities, learning events, human resources programs, and leadership at all levels of the organization”.



 Jarvis (2007) “The Strategic umbrella for developing and educating employees and its constituents in order to meet the corporation purposes. It will be, upon full implementation, the major employee professional development

Tingkatan Corpu (Allen, 2002)  Level I Training only:  Sebagai pusat kegiatan yang menyelenggarakan pelatihan kerja spesifik.



 Level II Training + Managerial and/or executive development:  Pelatihan fokus pada skill dan masuk ke desain pembelajaran pengembangan eksekutif.



 Level III Courses offered for academic credit:  Melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan perhitungan kredit akademik, yang diakui oleh Perguruan Tinggi tradisional.



 Level IV Courses offered that lead to an academic degree:  Melaksanakan pembelajaran dengan gelar Sarjana atau Magister. Pada posisi ini maka corporate university harus terakreditasi Dikti.
