1. Underlying Protocol MLLP This module obeys the rules of underlying protocol‐MLLP and it is used for transferring messages. MLLP default setting: Messages Block starting symbol =0X0B Messages Block ending symbol =0X1C Message section separator =0X0D Message encapsulation in HL7 protocol: Starting with single byte 0B, ending with double byte 1C 0D.
2. External protocol
HL7 Message type used in this module:
ORU – Unsolicited Observation Message (Event R01) : When the external system is
sending messages, it will download the test results from the operating software and transfer the test results with initiative. ORU^R01^ORU_R01
