motion controller, HMI, digital servo system, relay system, hydraulic system and speed measuring system. CT-01 motion controller is developed and made by our company, the advanced DSP technology is adopted in the motion controller. It can catch the external signals with high speed(1ms),by complex calculation, control the flying saw to cut the online material precisely.Fig.1 shows the CT-01 motion controller. HMI is the touching LCD,you can change and view the parameters conveniently through the touching LCD.
Fig.2 shows the CD series flying saw control system. 1.1.2 Application CD series flying saw control system has a wide range of uses, such as the online cutting of the pipe material or forming material, it can improve productivity very high. 1.1.3 Specification 1)
Material speed:0~120m/min*
2)

Wiring
2.1 Demand For Wiring 2.1.1 wire (or cable) Wire (or cable) should be provided by user according to the diagram 1 and diagram 2, the recommended value shows in the diagram. 2.1.2 power The AC power of 3 phase 380V(other type can be ordered by user)is needed by the CD series flying saw control system. The distortion of the power should be less than 10%。 Please pay attention, the wire of the power of CD series flying saw control system should be separated with the wire of the power of the high frequency strictly. The wires are laid separately. 3P 380V

2.1.2 demand for laying wire When laying wires, we recommend that all the wires should be shielded with galvanized tubes, and the 40% space in the tube should be left for cooling the wires. The AC wires and DC wires don’t be laid in the same tubes. If the cable groove is adopted, we recommended that the shielded cables are used as the controlling wires and signal wires. Fig.5 shows the laying wire diagram of the CD series flying saw control system. Because the site condition of users are not same, so it will be changed some while.
2.2 wiring diagram Fig.6 A,B shows the wiring diagram of the CD series flying saw control system. It can be used for connecting wires at the site or maintenance.

3.2 parameter setting 3.2.1main menu through main menu,we can learn the pipe length, line speed, pipe length setting, system status and quantity, and change the quantity, acknowledge the system status and reset the system through the key on the touching screen. 3.2.2 length setting Put the length setting button on the screen, enter the length setting menu. Put the change button, the number keyboard shows. Through the keyboard, put in the cutting length(unit is mm), and then put the ENT button. If the value is correct, then put the acknowledge button. Put the return button to return to main menu, then the acknowledge button begin to flash, put the acknowledge button again. By the way,in the length setting menu, there are 2 windows for the total pipe lengths and the good pipe lengths. 3.2.3 parameter setting Put the parameter setting button on the screen , enter the parameter setting menu. Put the password button, the number keyboard shows. Enter the password(2222),then put the ENT button, put the parameter menu button to enter the parameter menu. CD series flying saw control system
The example as below(changing the parameter 3) .
3-4
Put the parameter 3 button, enter the parameter 3 changing menu. Put the change button, the number keyboard shows. If the cart pulse coefficiente is 0.01 , then enter 1000 through the number keyboard, and then put the ENT button,If the value is correct, then put the acknowledge button. Put the return button to return to main menu, then the acknowledge button begin to flash, put the acknowledge button again. 3.3 pulse coefficient calculation calculate the cart pulse coefficient and the pipe pulse coefficient according to the formulation as follow:
cart pulse coefficient
K=
Z﹡M﹡π 4﹡P﹡i
note: Z --- tooth quantity of the gear M --- modulus i --- transmission ratio of the reducer P --- pulse quantity per rotate CD series flying saw control system
pipe pulse coefficient
3-5
K=
D﹡π 4﹡P
note: D --- diameter P --- pulse quantity per rotate Setting the coefficient according to the calculation, and view the length displayed in the screen and the actual length, if they are different, then correct the coefficient again.
caution:when the cart run forward, the displaying length change short, when the cart run backward, the displaying length change long. when the measuring speed roller runs at the same direction of the pipe line, the displaying length change long. when the measuring speed roller runs at the different direction of the pipe line, the displaying length change short.

Operation
4.1Power On Sequence when power on,to be sure the system at manual state, and then power on the system as follow: □put“power on”,system control circuit get power. □ put“spindle on”,cutting motor running.
□ put“run”,digital servo system get power. Then change the run mode switch as auto or simulate. By the way,the correct power off sequence as follow: □put“emergency stop”,servo power off, cutting motor stop.
□ put“power off”,then the system power off. 4.2 manual 1)put“clamp”and“cutting”, then cutting pipe by manual. 2)switch as“advance”,then the cart run forward. switch as “return”,then the cart run backward. 3)switch“digital measure” as “on” ,then the system add up the pipe length. switch“digital measure” as “off”,then the system don’t add up the pipe length. 4)Put the “reset”, then the system reset. 5)“emergency stop” means the cutting motor stop, system reset and servo system stop. CD series flying saw control system
4.3 auto
4-2
1)switch as“advance”or“return”,make the cart at home position, the home light shine. 2)Put the “reset”, make the displaying length is 0. 3)Switch as“auto”,the auto light shine, the state is auto. 4)Switch “ digital measure ” as “ on ”, system runs automatically.
4.4 simulation(use to check the system) 1)switch as“advance”or“return”,make the cart at home position, the home light shine. 2)Put the “reset”, make the displaying length is 0. 3)Switch as“simulate”,the auto light shine, the state is simulate. 4)Switch “digital measure”as“on”,system runs automatically.
4.5 short scale when the system runs automatically, and the cart at home position, put the “short scale”, then the cart runs immediately.
4.6 operating caution when the system runs automatically, switch “digital measure”as “off”or switch as “manual”, then the cart stop. In an emergency, put the CD series flying saw control system
“emergency”,the system stop immediately.

5.1 maintenance outline
Maintenance
5-1
□ Check the switch(lift saw limit、put saw down limit、loosen clamp limit)often, avoiding the incorrect work of the saw. □ Check the wires often. □ Check the encoder often. □ Prepare the encoder and switch for replacing when the parts out of work.
5.2 usual troubles □ Can’t power on,then check the fuse. □ Can’t enter auto mode, then check the home or limit switch. □ if the length error is so much, check the encoder or measuring speed roller. When the troubles appear, be sure to analyse the reasons, don’t change parameters and replace parts at random.
