WZP and WZC series thermal resistance components Application WZP and WZPM platinum thermal resistances made by our factory use imported state-or-art production technology and components. For temperature sensor, its inner quality, structure principle, and appearance are kept in class A level. Platinum thermal resistance is a kind of temperature sensor with the feature of accurate, sensitive, and stable performance. Platinum thermal resistance components are inner coil structure made of micro ceramic tube for protection tube, the temperature transducers can be very small (minimum outer diameter can be φ1.6mm), so you can produce different types of micro temperature sensor probe.



Resistance value at 100℃ for thermal resistance temperature transducers (R100) and resistance at 0℃ (R0)



Working Principle



Diaphragm platinum resistance components



Working principle of platinum thermal resistance: resistance of platinum resistance wire can be varied under the action of temperature. It can be directly used to measure the temperature within the range of -200~800℃. Its advantages: stable electrical performance, relationship between temperature and resistance close to linear, with high accuracy.

Note: ITI is the absolute value of measured temperature Allowed difference at level A doesn’t adapt to temperature range t>650℃. For level A, platinum resistance is allowed for restricted situation.



Heat response time



When temperature changes with stages, output of thermocouple will be changed to 50% of this stage variation, required time is called heat response time, represented in t0.5.



Self thermal impact



Max measured current allowed for platinum resistance is 5mA, temperature rise due to this shall be lower than 0.3℃.



Ratio: R100/ R0. Graduating number Pt100: Level A R0 =100±0.06Ω Level B R0 =100±0.12Ω W100=R100/ R0=1.385Ω



Diaphragm platinum resistance components are imported products with state-in-art technology in Germany. It have the advantages as accurate, sensitive, short heat response time, stable quality, long use life, etc. Its accuracy can reach level 1/3B.
