Being a foreign exchange student is good for you and your future (Persuasive essay) It is, because mainly you learn about a different culture; in which you’ll start living in a completely different lifestyle with different ideas, customs, ways of living together in communities and families, values, attitudes… You’ll also celebrate holidays different from yours, and you’ll start to appreciate and understand people’s feelings about the World. It is important, because you learn a new language; starting to understand, speak, read, write, talk, and express your feelings with other people; but the most important: think in a second language. You’ll obtain some skills: a new accent and change some of your expressions. By learning a second language, I can guarantee that you’ll have much more opportunities in the future at the time you want to apply into a job. You’ll also acquire the ability to interact with other people in a new language. You’ll meet new and interesting people, experience new and awesome situations, make lots of friends whose attitudes and beliefs are different from your own- this will give you a better understanding about what your own ideas are. Conclusion: Foreign exchange students will be successful in their lives, because they learn how to interact with people with totally different ideas; which in fact gives them a better understanding of their own ideas, their culture, and the differences between both. They will develop the ability to speak in another language, acquiring a different accent, some different expressions, and much more opportunities at the time they want to apply into a job. But the most important: they will learn to face problems and solve them by their own, which will give them the maturity required for their futures. Therefore, being a foreign exchange student is good for you and your future.
